Celebrate National Library Week

All week long we’ll have giveaways,
demonstrations and fun activities for all ages

Special Family Events
Tuesday, April 15, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.:
Mary Archibald demonstrates the art of using watercolors.
Try your hand with paints and create a picture to take home.

Wednesday, April 16, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.:
Pam Holt from Buddha Dog demonstrates pet massage.
Her canine friend Shug, a Dachshund/Corgi mix will be with her.
Questions and petting encouraged!

Thursday, April 17, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.:
Jan Emanuel and friends demonstrate
the art of quilting. Create your own one-of-a-kind “quilted” paper bookmark to take home.

Children’s Events
April 1-19:
Monrovia Reading 500 is a mini-reading club to rev up for summer.
Read 5 books or 150 pages for prizes. Sign up at the Youth Services Reference Desk.
Tuesday, April 15, 3:45 p.m.:
Tag-Team Read-Aloud Party.
Come snack & listen to Children's Librarians read their favorite stories for kids.

Tuesday—Friday, 10:45 a.m.:
Time for Twos and Munchkin Storytime will feature fun stories about libraries and books.
